Homeland Deals and Coupon Match-Up 4/1/09 thru 4/7/09

Tomorrow is April 1 and my oldest daughter is very excited.  She is ready to "play jokes" on people.  Also, tomorrow (or maybe in the next few days) I will update you on how my goals I made at the beginning of the year are going. 

I have been training for a 5K and I am scheduled to run one on the 26th of April.  I will be part of a 5-person relay team for the Memorial Marathon.  I hope I can run the whole thing!  I still have a little over 3 weeks to train so I think I will be ok.  We'll see!  I may pass out after I finish my leg of the race.

Homeland Deals and Coupon Match-Up 3/25/09 thru 3/31/09

I forgot again!!  Here is the link to the Match-Ups.  I have been doing almost all of my shopping at Aldi lately and find that even without coupons it is cheaper most of the time than when shopping with coupons at other places.

Also, I was watching the news tonight and they did a little blurb on a new site.  Grocio.com will be up and running soon and the site sounds pretty cool.  It is supposed to let you enter in your grocery list and then it will tell you the store with the best prices and savings.  Not only that, if there is an internet coupon available that matches up withan item on your grocery list it will pop up and you can print it out.  You can sign up now but it is not quite up and running yet.

Shopping List Updated

So I revamped the shopping list a little to show "Dinner Only" items in pink.  That way if you only want to shop for the items needed for dinner you don't have to pick through the list.  I will probably forever be tweaking but I will eventually get it right.  I am working on Week 2 shopping list right now.  Hopefully I will get that posted tomorrow.  And I might if you're lucky, get them both posted in .pdf format!

Well here it is.  I hope I have everything on the list.  It is late you know!  I will go over it again in the morning and see if there needs to be any changes.  I won't have it in .pdf format until Monday.  My hubby has to convert the file for me.Download Shopping List 

I have been a busy girl today.  I hung some new shelving in my pantry and I also finished texturing the bathroom.  I took pictures with my cell phone but they stink so I will take some better ones with the camera in the morning and post them.
